Read full report

Welcome

Issue 03 of Catalyst updates you on recent LTGDC activities aimed at regenerating east London including major investment announcements, the start on site of several developments, awards, and launches.

After the positive outcome of the Department of Communities and Local Government's 5 year review of LTGDC, that provided strong endorsement of LTGDC and its continuing need and importance to east London, our focused expertise and regeneration and renewal will now be concentrated on realizing the potential of the Lower Lea Valley and the Olympic Arc.

Our track record here is already impressive and you can read about it in this addition of Catalyst. Stratford High Street's transformation, LTGDC's steps to ensure the regeneration of Bromley by Bow, east London schools reaping returns in much improved grades from LTGDC investments, the launch of the East London Transit and much more.

Our activities and investments now have an unstoppable momentum which is producing results while underpinning the London Thames Gateway area as a key investment location. A recent report by Jones Lang LaSalle shows that the London Thames Gateway will outperform the rest of the UK during recovery, making it the right time and place to invest.

Bob Lane - LTGDC Chairman

London Thames Gateway Development Corporation is the key government agency responsible for delivering social and economic growth to transform the London Thames Gateway, part of Europe's largest regeneration project.
